This is a first for the year 2010!
As with every new year comes new resolutions.
I thought I'd share my resolutions for the new year (please nudge me if I don't seem to be achieving them!)
1. Eat breakfast everyday.
I realise I've neglected this very important meal in a day for quite some time now.
I thought I could skip it, I didn't have time, I just wasn't hungry.
But I was so wrong, I noticed that the days I didn't eat breakfast were the days where I was most lethargic!
So this is definitely first on the list.
2. Give my parents and sisters a warm hug every day/night. (unless I fall asleep before they get home)
Yeah I know what you're thinking...awww mushy mushy. hahaha but I think family is really important to me and I just wanna show them that I appreciate and love them <3
3. Pray more. (God has to be at the centre)
Its the only way I can talk to my most awesome God (and to think that I was always too tired, distracted or lazy yadah yadah giving excuses for not wanting to pray), ah i feel so ashamed! in the new year, I really wanna share my life with God, lean on Him for strength and just treat him like a best friend :) He knows about everything in my life and yet He is so eagerly waiting for me to tell Him about it. Its like watching a movie again and again, you know exactly what's gonna happen, yet God feels happy doing it. He's not bored, He's not complaining, He's happy :)
4. Bond and commit more to Cornerstone.
An awesome group of people whom I've counted on countless number of times for strength, support and love. I'm truly blessed to have them in my life :) Yet, I think I've been receiving much more than giving to this wonderful church community, and this year I'm determined to GIVE. Of course I'll do No. 3 first and hopefully that will significantly improve the chances of me doing No. 4!
5. Enjoying every single moment with no regrets.
This is easier said than done. There's always something to learn from a situation, something to improve. But i wanna be able to enjoy it without regrets, like knowing that i've given my all for a performance, doing an exam to the best of my ability, being as good a friend as I can be and much more.
6. Never ever stress myself out, just be happy!
Haha this sixth resolution is self explanatory. 2 words, be happy :) And I ask that from all my friends and family as well!
Alright more on my resolutions tomorrow, good night!
Love,
Gwen
