Ah awesome, havent updated in ages. Blogging seems rather unfamiliar to me now, maybe cos i havent done it for so long haha.
Yea my series of posts probably ended abruptly when i left for italy back in march!
Ah, Italy. Beautiful scenery, great friends, music making.
Yup that sums it up:)
Looking back on the trip, i feel that Pattaya was much more memorable somehow. Winning in Pattaya seemed like a much bigger deal. Tears shed were much more then. But nonetheless, still proud that we made it all the way in the Italian competition.
AJchoir gave it our all. Went the distance together. Done ourselves proud. Made others proud. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recently, i've learnt to appreciate. Not just the more important events in life, but also the small things that could eventually add up to a whole lot more. More importantly, its appreciating those around you - family, best friends, good friends, morale boosters. Thank God for them. I love them, i really do :)
Often, being completely human, we feel a need to be loved and appreciated. By family, by friends, by people who are important to us. And really, it just takes for someone to let you know you're appreciated that just makes your day.
What gets us through each day? What keeps us sane? What counts as fulfilment in our life?
The simple things. Yes, the simple little things.
Appreciate. I feel for this word.
:)
As Mother Teresa once said: "There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread."
